Who will best benefit from your services?
Anyone who needs help in growing their client base or anyone who wants to make their hopes, dreams and goals come true. You may have a destination in mind but don't know how to get there.
I like to call myself the "goal-crusher". I set goals for my personal and professional life and have reached every goal I have set for myself. I know what it takes. Just like mastering anything, it takes practice, time and effort. Reaching your goals is a form of art. I have been down this path and now guide others down this path. There is no magic bullet. Only a road map to follow.
What do most of your clients want?
Many of them own a small business. They want to see their business grow and reach a larger market. I help them with many different facets of marketing, PR and outreach that results in a larger profit margin.
How did you get started?
I worked in Marketing and Public Relations full time for over a decade. This gave me valuable insight and experience. During this time, a couple of friends who were starting a business asked me to do a website for them. They knew of my skills and would often ask me for marketing advice like friends would pick your brain. So I sat down with them over a glass of wine and gave them a full fledged consultation. They loved what I did for them and encouraged me to start doing this for other business owners. So thankful for friends that came to me and believed in me. They are still some of my best clients and it makes me so happy to see their businesses thriving. So starting my own business as a consultant in 2011 was formalizing what I was already doing for a long time. I love it because it gives me the freedom and flexibility to make my own schedule and be my own boss. Helping people one on one has been a dream come true.
We know you do amazing work. How did you get to to where you are?
Thank you. I am very much a people-person. Building three of my own successful businesses from scratch has given me the knowledge, tools and experience to help others who are on the same boat. I know first hand what it is like to be a small business owner and the challenges that come with it. I have learned from my own trials and errors, what works best, and how to save time and money with advertising. I teach my clients how to avoid making those same mistakes. I save them time and money by navigating them in the right direction by doing what actually works when it comes to growing a business.
In college I double majored in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, and Computer Information Systems. It was helpful to have a strong foundation. I worked as a Marketing & Public Relations Director for over 10 years. One of the highlights of my marketing/PR career was getting selected to be in a professional exchange program by Rotary International. They flew me to Germany and I was able to meet great marketers and exchange ideas.
I believe what helps me in the real world is my work experience and knowing how to work with different personalities. After working as a full-time marketer for over a decade, my mind automatically thinks and works like a marketer. It is something that comes to me naturally. What's important is that I have the gift and ability to teach others and work with them to make their dreams come true.
What do you enjoy most about being a consultant?
Getting to know my clients as real people. It's important for me to get a clear picture of who they are to be able to help them. As entrepreneurs our professional and personal lives are interwoven to a great extent. I am a safe and confidential place for my clients to share their goals, dreams and fears. I don't judge them, instead focus on providing them with a solution. When they put their trust in me and hire me as their marketer or publicist, they become a part of my special circle. I provide my best and go above and beyond for my clients.
What's your fee for a consultation?
Each client and their needs are different. After our preliminary complimentary consultation, I will send you a personalized quote based on your needs. I provide packages and individual sessions. You will get a complimentary get acquainted thirty minute consultation. I love hearing my clients say that the value they receive is more than worth the investment.
Great! I am ready to get started. How do I make an appointment for a consultation?
You can contact me through my website (www.MarketingConsultantNC.com), e-mail me (GreatMarketingAdvice@gmail.com) or call me (252-292-1307) directly. I answer all e-mails and calls personally. I am very friendly and easy to talk to, so do not hesitate to reach out. We will set up a time to meet in person or do a phone consultation, depending on your location. I also do consultations on skype. I am used to working with different time zones. My in-person appointments are usually in the NC triangle area and Eastern NC. Specifically Wilson, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Kinston, Fayetteville and Smithfield.
In person consultation: we sit down and discuss what your situation is and how I can help you. Each client is different and their needs are different. So I do a complimentary consultation to understand what you may need help with.
I only accept a limited number of clients as my goal is to provide my best to the ones I work with.
